Lick-Wilmerding High School, located in San Francisco, serves 500+ students in grades 9–12. An independent, coed day school, LWHS combines a distinguished college preparatory curriculum with an outstanding program in the technical arts.

Affinity groups are formed around similar characteristics, life experiences, shared interest or common goal, to which individuals formally or informally belong. LWHS supports adult affinity spaces as a way to facilitate relationship building among employees, create space for informal peer mentoring and networking, and provide systems of support beyond an individual’s department. Participation in these affinity spaces is voluntary.

We seek teachers who are committed to using multiple modalities and perspectives to help students with diverse learning styles and educational backgrounds achieve the goals and objectives of the curriculum, and who are committed to equitable teaching practices in the classroom. In addition, we are looking for genuine colleagues, thoughtful, energetic and passionate teachers, and all-around "school people" who want to participate in and contribute to our vibrant community.
